Membership Benefits Membership Application The CAA’s collective efforts on statewide issues which benefit all ambulance providers are not possible without strong membership support and engagement. Membership offers successful business leaders opportunities to seek out trends and innovations, find creative solutions to today’s tough challenges and stay competitive. Join the only statewide organization that serves the interests of private enterprise emergency and nonemergency ambulance services in California. Membership Categories & Dues AmountsActive Member ($300 per licensed ambulance, maximum amount of $10,000 annually) - All members who are entitled to vote shall be classified, and known as, “Active Members.” Active Members shall possess a valid and current “Emergency Ambulance Non-Transferable License” (CHP form 360A) (hereafter referred to as “CHP License”). Active Member must be operating a ground ambulance business. Active Members must be a Corporation, Limited Liability Company, Partnership or Sole Proprietorship. Active Members can either be for profit or non-profit. Active Members cannot be governmental entities unless approved by a vote of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Board of Directors present at a duly called Board of Director’s meeting. Public Agency/Other Ambulance Member ($300 per licensed ambulance, maximum amount of $10,000 annually) - An “Other Ambulance Provider” Member is a public agency ground ambulance service; a volunteer ground ambulance service; an air ambulance service (public, private or volunteer). Associate Member ($750 annually) - An “Associate Member” is a 1) trade association formed by ground ambulance providers where the focus of the association is ambulance issues at either at the County, State or Federal level, or, 2) A county or regional emergency medical services agency; operating within the state of California, or 3) A person or entity that is granted membership rights by the Board of Directors where there is no other classification that describes what the person or entity does. Commercial Member ($750 annually) - Any person, partnership or duly existing and qualified corporation, manufacturing, renting, selling equipment or providing services used by private professional ambulance providers. |
